The WRC 10 development team has posted a new update to their Steam page:
Gamers from seven different countries will descend on Athens, Greece today to compete for over 30,000 Euros worth of prizes in the esports WRC World Final presented by AGON by AOC.
The world’s eight best drivers were whittled down from more than 15,000 following a 13-round regular season which concluded in August when 2020 world champion Sami-Joe Abi-Nakhle was crowned regular season MVP, earning himself an AGON by AOC screen valued at more than 1,000 Euros.
Now, after a half a day of qualifications, only 4 of them remains to face each other during the World Final.
The Lebanese teenage sensation will be hot favourite in the televised World Final today, where he is expected to receive intense competition from three-time world champion Lohan ‘Nexl’ Blanc.
The winner will take home 25,000 Euros cash from us and will be complemented by a limited-edition TW Steel VS90 WRC watch.
The runner-up will receive a full sim set-up courtesy of AGON by AOC, Playseat and Fanatec and a limited-edition TW Steel VS92 WRC watch while there will also be a TW Steel GT11 WRC watch awaiting the third place-getter.
The Final will be streamed live globally today at 16:00 CEST on WRC social channels and TV.
