Experience the best of both racing and driving at the Horizon Festival while behind the wheel of the 350-horsepower 2020 MG #20 MG6 XPower, the Autumn “Storm” seasonal reward car in Forza Horizon 5 featuring a special racecar livery, a six-speed sequential gearbox, and a dual master cylinder brakes system. While the road-going version of this car is one of your overall rewards for the series, this is your chance to also drive its race-driven counterpart!
The second week of #FORDzathon arrives with a new car to drive, as well as Ford themed events and rewards available through Thursday, January 19. Here’s the rundown:
- 20 PTS: 2020 MG #20 MG6 XPower
- 40 PTS: 2019 Ford Ranger Raptor
Before we dive into the Festival Playlist, remember to visit the Forza Forums to share your thoughts on the latest events, and check out the Suggestions Hub where you can recommend new game features and upvote the cars you would like to see in future updates.
Intimidating, infamous and inimitable. Those are the three words that can only describe a 90s icon, the 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth. Purpose built for rallying with a ludicrous wing, the Weekly Forzathon Challenge is your opportunity to relive its glory days. Over in the Forzathon Shop, look out for the 2018 Ford #25 Mustang RTR and the 2020 Ford #2069 Ford Performance Bronco R, as well as the Police Siren Car Horn – the ideal choice for role-play – and Farid Rueda’s Lion Thin Watch.
Once you’ve completed some fun minigames in Horizon Arcade, get your 2014 Ford FPV Limited Edition Pursuit Ute tuned to B class so it’s ready to defeat The Trial, where you can score the 1977 Hoonigan GYMKHANA 10 Ford F-150 ‘Hoonitruck’. Elsewhere, Team Flag Rush in Ford vehicles is on the Seasonal Playground Games menu, where you can unlock the 1940 Ford De Luxe Coupe for simply participating.
Did somebody say Seasonal PR Stunts? As always, a trio of Super Wheelspins can be yours. You’ll need a pre-1990 Ford vehicle tuned to B class to set a record on the Event Horizon Danger Sign, the Estadio Speed Trap and the Puerta Pétrea Trailblazer. Another awaits at Hot Wheels Park, the Canyon Fire Danger Sign.
Celebrate the best of Ford in this week’s Seasonal Championships. You can unlock the 2014 Ford FPV Limited Edition Pursuit Ute in Ford by Fours, the 2003 Ford Focus RS in Superstar & Hatch and the 2018 Ford Mustang GT in Caprisy Does It. You’ll be Shaking the Trees on Hot Wheels Park, where the classic 1975 Ford Bronco is up for grabs.
Meanwhile, the Photo Challenge featuring a Wheelspin reward is all about the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST at the Gran Puente, while over in the Super7, the 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 can be yours.
That’s the outlook on everything to look forward to in Mexico this week! As always, there’s more to come so be sure to check back weekly for the latest events in the Festival Playlist.
